To volunteer for an event, please click on the link provided in an event article, which directs you to Volunteer Spot.  Just follow the simple directions!  We know your time is valuable, so thank you for "helping those who cannot help themselves."

Serve as a Volunteer

Concern for Animals has lots of volunteer opportunities available to help our animals and programs!  We often need volunteers to help with special community and fundraising events, like Toast for Tails.  Once you’re on our volunteer list, we will send out frequent email communications about our needs and events. Volunteer Training

Volunteers who have never attended a training are encouraged to attend as well as anyone interested in learning more about CFA. We welcome animal lovers over the age of 18 (if 16-18, must be accompanied by an adult).

Toast for Tails Volunteers

Save the date!
November 14, 2015

We are currently seeking volunteers to fill the following positions:
Set Up -
Direct foot traffic and help set up
Front Door Check-In - Check ID's
Rear Door Check-In – Send guests to check-in and registration
Guest Registration - Ticket sales & check-in, hand out glasses & scrips
Monitor - Visible in auction room(s), answer guest questions, enforce auction rules, security, pull sheets for "Top Dog", pull sheets when tables close & take to check-out
Balloon Runner - Take sheets from guests checking out, pick up items won and deliver to guest
Spotter - Assist live auctioneer, point out bidders, meet with winning bidder to get bid number on auction item sheet
Logo Sales & Membership - Sell CFA logo items, Panowicz raffle tix & and dog treats; process payments
Runners - Very flexible position; assist wherever need arises. Check w/wineries periodically, make sure they have enough water in their jugs, empty the scrip boxes & bring more wine to wineries as needed
Coat Check - Take donations for Coat Check, hand out personal belongings when guests leave
Wine script sales - Mingle with guests, cover all areas selling wine scrips
