2013 GIVE-BACK VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Concern for Animals is seeking a few skilled volunteers for our 2013 Give Back Volunteer Program. To learn about these exciting opportunities, please see the descriptions below.

CRITERIA FOR APPLYING:
•Our volunteers will begin approximately June 1, 2013 and continue through approximately June 1, 2014.
•All volunteers are unpaid and expected to help with fundraising events and administrative duties as assigned.
•Please indicate in the subject line which volunteer position you would like to be considered.
•Interested candidates should forward a cover letter, and either a volunteer application or Board application, via email to Janey@concernforanimals.org.

EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS:
This Give Back Volunteer Program is perfect for anyone looking to learn more about the world of non-profit development, event planning, and animal welfare issues. While these positions will be especially helpful to those looking to continue in a career in the non-profit sector, the skills learned through the event planning, fundraising, marketing, financial duties, veterinarian services and administration  are invaluable to anyone who plans to have a leadership role in any sector. Most importantly, this is a fun volunteer program in a fast-paced, casual work environment, and contributes to saving lives of cats, dogs, and farm animals at CFA. Additionally, these positions will give the opportunity to work on an individual project with the support of the board and staff. These are great opportunities to add a personal and unique element to a professional portfolio, and work to improve specific skills with the help of a professional non-profit team.  For a description of the following positions, please click here.
