Spring Plant & Gift Sale
The Spring Plant & Gift Sale is an annual plant sale that CFA puts on each May. It features locally grown flowers, grasses, produce plants, saplings, and decorative hanging baskets. There are tables full of gift baskets, artisan items from local artists, specialty plants from local nurseries, and even food truck vendors!
The event usually runs the Saturday before Mother's Day at the CFA office in downtown Olympia and is a perfect weekend event to get family and friends out in the sun. Best of all, the proceeds go towards CFA's continued operation!
WHAT'S AT THE SALE?
The Spring Plant & Gift Sale features a variety of plants for sale. In 2022, CFA had a wide selection of plants available including tomato plants, cucumber plants, beet plants, geraniums, spider plants, lilac trees, plum trees, herb plants, and hanging baskets. The plants were locally grown in greenhouses owned by our Board of Directors, volunteers, and staff. Want to donate plants to the sale? Email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know what you've got!
Also featured at the Spring Plant & Gift Sale is a selection of gift baskets and artisan items from local companies and artists. Gifts can start at prices as low as $5 and they make a wonderful surprise for anyone in your life. Plus, the gift has the added benefit of supporting local animals. Want to donate items for the gift tables? Email us at email@example.com and give us your information!
Small Local Businesses
Each year CFA invites local nurseries, artisan shops, and creators to come have a booth at the Spring Plant & Gift Sale. Featured businesses agree to donate 25% of their proceeds from the day to CFA and offer a cultivated selection of their products to attendees. In 2022, CFA had the pleasure of featuring artists from Olympia's own Gallery Boom! Want to have a booth? Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with links to your business page!
Food & Snack Vendors
No event would be complete without food trucks and snacks! During the Spring Plant & Gift Sale, local food and drink vendors are invited to set up their stations in the CFA parking lot so attendees can grab a bite. These vendors agree to donate 25% of their proceeds from the day to CFA - so every snack purchase benefits animals. Want to feature your food truck?
